My favourite street fighter characters are Dhalsim, E Honda, Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Cammy and Balrog along with Zangief, Sagat, M Bison and Guile.

I mastered the original SF2 and Turbo on the SNES with every character and eventually got so good at it that I could beat it on the hardest setting with them all. I was obsessed at the time and must have played it 3 hours every day for a good 2 years straight non-stop. lol

Looking back now, these were how I would rank the characters and how much I used them:

1st Tier (my go-to fighters that I mastered perfectly)
Ken
Guile
M. Bison
Vega

2nd Tier (played with these guys a lot, just not as much)
Blanka
Sagat
Chun Li
E Honda
Ryu

3rd tier (played with them enough where I was really good, but still preferred the others)
Cammy
Balrog
Fei Long

4th Tier (only played with these guys to beat the game with or if I was bored)
Dhalsim
T Hawk
Dee Jay
Zangief

What i would love to see is an adventure game whiere you can choose from a few characters from the street fighter series.

Yes. I don't play fighters anymore, but I logged a lot of hours on SF2 in the arcade when it was hot and then played the heck out of Alpha 2 on the Sega Saturn. Ken and Akuma were both pretty easy to play, but I always liked Dhalsim, Cammy, and Blanka for flavor...and Chun Li for other reasons

I beat the original street fighter at Disney quest a few months before they closed it down. Now i have my own arcade with a bunch lf street fighter games.

Weird story growing up, my dad refused to let me see the street fighter movie because of "violence" but; never showed any concern about that before (having seen violent movies before) and playing mortal kombat and street fighter, and watching mortal kombat the movie (which was as tame as an episode of wmac masters). Still watched it through.
