My 10 year old son and his friends are addicted to this game. Its taken over Minecraft for the attention of the younger kids crowd - which is saying something. He's even gotten me to play it a few times - and its a ton of fun.

I can't help but look at it as a huge missed opportunity for GIJoe to regain some of its cool factor with the correct age group. This game would skin-over perfectly to be a great GIJoe game.

Anyone else play it and think the same thing?

I have played it with my son he is 12 and yeah your right he and all his friends love it. I never thought of GI Joe for it, but I could really see dreadnoks working for it.

I've played with my boy and my wife's brothers. It's fun. My boy has a skin that actually looks just like FireFly with the backpack and everything

Heck - it even takes place on an island. Rebrand it 'Attack on Cobra Island'. Have most of the characters be Cobras - but have a squad of Joes that are trying to take them out.

Now my son tells me they've released a 50 vs 50 option. Just imagine - 50 players as Vipers, Cobra Troopers, Crimson Guards, and other Cobra Agents... vs 50 Joe troops. Battle it out on an island for ultimate victory! Its the battle of Cobra Island - in perfect video game form!
