I forgot to post this here!
Harebrained Schemes made some noise over the past couple years after their successful Kickstarters for new cRPGs set in the Shadowrun universe (Shadowrun Returns, and two expansion/spin offs). The end of last month saw them put their focus on reviving another FASA property, Battletech

After Harebrained upfronted the 250K for the single player skirmish mode, they managed to raise the additional 750K for a full single player campaign within 24 hours. Since then, they raised another million, expanding the game to the point it now has-
Single Player Skirmish
Single Player campaign, stretch goaled with voice acting, cinematics, and other bells and whistles.

Today, they reached the milestone to unlock the "open ended campaign", meaning that not only will you be able to play more missions in single player campaign (side contracts), but once the story mission is complete, you can keep playing.

With 15 days left, there still exists a decent chance of reaching the 2.5 million necessary to unlock the multiplayer component.

Just over a day left, and Battletech has been funded through ALL goals, including PvP multiplayer. At this stage, any additional funding will simply be used to add more polish to existing designs and features, as well as a post-launch support team to explore coop multiplayer and other lower priority targets.

So, last chance to get in on them sweet backer perks (like the custom Atlas...)
