Thanks Bethesda but, NO THANKS.
Funnily enough, I was gonna post the same news just in a negative way.

No thanks. I prefer my ES experience to be single player.

AFAIK there hasn't been an ES game that allowed more than single player. How do you already know what you prefer?

Because I've played plenty of other games both co-op and competitive, and I do not like PvP. Co-op can be good, but usually ends up competitive in a points race anyway, so for this style of game I prefer single player. The best co-op I've ever played was in Syphon Filter: Omega Strain. There were no points, only objectives and you HAD to work together to beat the missions under their optimal parameters.

Single player is and will always be superior to people that like SP.... I have a life. It is hard to match wits/skills with people who play online games 15 hours a day....that is just a fact.

Look Jayce, a roller coaster! "Dad, I don't like roller coasters" Have you ever been on one? "No" Then you can't tell me you don't like it. Aly, I understand your trepidation on the game, but I'll be willing to give it a shot. As long as they make it so that you can play online cross console. I would love to be able to play with PS3,XBOX and PC gamers at once. Also, it will take a LOT to get me away from LOTRO right now

As usual, I'm just going to wait and see how this shapes up before I pull out my Jump to Conclusions mat.
Though honestly Mr. Howard and his team haven't put out a game that I didn't like, so I'm cautiously optimistic. I just find myself questioning their ability to develop, and more importantly, balance, an MMO, considering how unbelievably easy it is to create Physical God in just about all their games (haven't played anything pre-Morrowind).

This isn't being developed by Bethesda, it's ZeniMax Online. You're honestly worried about balance?! In a game associated with a Bethesda property? LOL. I'd be more worried about them actually shipping a WORKING product. Daggerfall, and every TES game that's followed has had a history of game breaking bugs and other weirdness. If I'm not mistaken Daggerfall is the second buggiest PC game of all-time - but that's probably changed. They have a history of just getting the game into a workable state before moving on, while the modders fix their mess. How does that scenario work in an MMO?
