I know in a short time we'll be complaining we're broke...but I swear I'd take that over this ANY DAY of the week!
Both Target and TRU are just completely desolate! The only MU they have are Iron Man and AIM Soldier...geez, they are like the Flint in Cobra Uniform of MU! We have ZERO revisions of POC..in fact the only things on the pegs are Arctic Destro, Zartan, Dusty and Jungle Viper...I STILL do not own a Shock Trooper, Lowlight or frickin' Shadow Tracker! Star Wars is the same old... The only thing that is remotely worth sifting through is TF...where I scored Drift and Seaspray..and that was last month! Have fun going through the endless ROTF crapola and Cybertronian Megatron... Wow. I can't wait for the next few months...this is the worst I've seen the aisles in awhile. End rant. |

Wow Swan..that about sums it up.
Nothing worse than walking to that section after having to park a mile away in the cold..getting all excited and seeing that. Talk about deflated! |

I collect MU, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, and Iron Man 2. I'll also pick up anything in the 1:18 scale if it strikes me as cool. Out of all those lines I havent been able to find anything for the past two months. I managed to get a couple G.I. Joe figures and a vintage style Yoda this week but things are still bleak. I guess I got pretty spoiled. Maybe we should think back to the time when there werent any Joes. When Marvel Universe didnt even exist. When Star Wars figures suckeeeeed deeeeeeck.
I got to go read my scripture now. I got a turtle head peaking.

My Walmart just finished their reset and they have no space whatsoever for either Joes or MU... so sad. What is truly frustrating is that whatever new Joes or MU they did very occasionally get pretty much sold through (except Arctic Destro, lol), and yet they decide to stop carrying both lines. Pegwarming IM2 figs on the other hand... endure. LOL.

WOW, all of you guys(&gals) must be rookie collectors. How long have you guys been collecting toys?
Every year after the Holiday season stores take time to restock toys and other items. After the holidays, store start prepping for their inventories (gotta have accurate counts before you start ordering more stuff). Spring doesn't even start for another month and that's when stores begin working on planograms before the big summer "rush". Toys are only big in the summer and the holidays. It's been like this for ages, even during the 25th Anniversary. I remember Wave 6: Torpedo, Rock n Roll, and Armored Cobra Commander were a pain in the ass to find because stores weren't ordering $#!+ after the holidays. Then "BAM!!" Waves 7 & 8 hit back to back and everyone was bitching "too much product at onces". Just chill and be patient new stuff is coming in another month or so. If you're all that desperate to spend money, send it my way so that I can payoff my car with the remaining eight payments I have left. I wouldn't mind have an extra $400 a month. |
