What scale are these figures? I'm guessing six inch. If they were Joe scale and had good articulation I'd at least get Rick. But with McFarlane making them it makes me think they will be action statues instead of action figures.

They actually are supposed to have decent articulation according to McFarlane. He is going back to actually makin figures and not just statues again. I know that pic doesn't show it but hopefully it will be there upon release.

Looking at the photos again, there isn't really any articulation aside from the shoulders. Hopefully they will be better that what they are now.

The press release I read said:
Each human figure includes multiple interchangeable accessories and several points of articulation for limitless possibility and customization. Now how much articulation = Several Points in McFarlane's world, who knows? I've seen him make some figures with a lot and some with 2 POA. As for the Zombies? Well the press release said Human figures, I'd expect only 3 POA on the Zombie shown |

BTW, Here's a pic of the Michonne prototype:
The Walking Dead: First Look at Michonne Prototype Figure | Horror Movie, DVD, & Book Reviews, News, Interviews at Dread Central I see one head, one elbow, two wrists and a waist that could possibly move, but it is a prototype so maybe they'll add more later. As it is right now, I'm seeing the same crap we've gotten from McFarlane for the past 10 or more years |

I have a few Plan B modern figures and thats about what they have and its doable. |
