Disney has released images and some of their plans for PotC 4 prior to Toy Fair. These include figures by Jakks Pacific, Lego sets and a Lego-based video game by TT Games.
Can see some of the images here. I can't wait for the game and the Lego sets look awesome. LEGO MERMAIDS!!

That 6 inch figure of Penolope Cruz is a safety hazard ... it made my eyes pop out of their sockets.
Also, I have no use for it, but I want that pirate ship for some reason Last edited by laurenluna1977; 02-03-2011 at 03:02 PM.. |

There's another thread over here:http://www.hisstank.com/forum/toys/9...rrow-back.html
More links to pics on page 2 and a link to an interview with Jakks. I also want the Queen Anne's Revenge, but I have Zizzle's Black Pearl and have promised my girlfriend that I won't buy another giant pirate ship. |

I haven't seen Target put the tags out yet. TRU had the tags on the shelf as of a week ago, but no toys yet. $7.99 a pop for 4".

All the sightings so far have been at TRU so not sure about Targets numbers yet. TRU is scheduled to have product out on the 1st (at least most of the ones I called; 1 had no clue). Another option will likely be Disney stores though they will charge more and can't confirm a street date because they never know what they're getting. Also I've been piecing info together from different sites and sightings and reviews and here's a few highlights:
-No ball joints. Cut shoulders and t-hips, hinged elbows and knees, and swivel wrists. No idea about the waist and I'm assuming minimal movement ball socket heads - so I guess one ball joint but I doubt it will act like more than a cut swivel. -Lots of part reuse. Barbossa and Blackbeard share arms and one leg; Jack and Gibbs share legs; and Jack, Gibbs and Angelica share arms. Hasn't been confirmed but from pics I'm actually guessing that Barbossa, Blackbeard, Jack and Gibbs all share a basic torso and legs. The coats/vests all seem like removable pieces that make the basic buck more unique -minimal paint apps so these will look much cleaner than the Zizzle Pirates -the ghost paint is invisible when not under a blacklight; Gibbs and Blackbeard have the least, Jack has the most -Case packout looks to be: 1 Angelica 1 Gibbs 2 Barbossa 3 Blackbeard 5 Jack -all guns are the same mold; swords are unique -Barbossa's leg and crutch are molded in soft plastic, though it doesn't impede standing -Wave 2 has 3 different crewmen and Jack in a coat and should be out in April - *SOME* of the figures in the movie scenes 2 packs will be pre-posed, though it looks like the Angelica and Blackbeard set will feature Angelica in her purple coat; you can check pics on entertainmentearth.com I'm still excited for the line, but my excitement has definitely deflated a bit knowing there are no ball shoulders. Looks like I'll have to do a bit of doctoring like I did with a few of the Zizzle Pirates.

Does this mean that Target is not going to carry this line? I thought I saw where they had an exclusive. It just seems it would make no sense for them to not put the stuff out this week.
