yes they do. They're on the small side of 3 3/4 too so they dont display well next to very much. Im hoping the line gets a complete redo after GL comes out. I dont swing either way when it comes to Marvel or DC. I love characters from both lines and it comes down to quality. I have over 70 MU figures and no DC figures. When they catch up. I'll buy some. I want them to make some good villains like Darkseid that are comarable to Thanos and Juggernaut in style and tooling, and pretty much all of JL.

They are too small next to other 3 3/4 inch figures. When you are at the store next time put a DC figure next to a MU or Joe figure and you'll see it.
Sucks because I really wanted about 20 of them especially adam strange and deathstroke.

DCIH come off as too short, but they're chest, shoulder, and arm measurements are bigger than Joes and some MU. Joes tend to look like anorexic high schoolers rather than men who have spent half their life in the leaning rest.

When I say "right out of the package," I mean shortly after opening. I always try to bend the elbows, knees, etc. to test the articulation of a figure. I've found a lot of the DCIH knees aren't cleanly cut and the peg itself is weaker than most figures.
Finally, I went downstairs to take some comparison shots, and I noticed my DCIH are covered in that white chalky dust that happens with mattel's cheapo plastic. |

I did a review a while back too, showed the same thing, I think Johnnyangel even had a pic in his sig with Storm Shadow and Deathstroke. But hey, whatever. Why would I cheat it anyway? I mean really. Edit: here there is a pic from my review. Last edited by zedhatch; 01-17-2011 at 04:02 AM.. |

It's a shot from my webcomic which is why they are standing like that, and no there was no "cheat" but if you don't want to believe fine.

IMHO the first wave or two did stink, I have a few of them and they were worse than Comic Book Heroes from the 70's.
But as the line progressed some great articulation started to come in, and I'm really hoping that going forward the line will get better - it is continuing in some form or another. Really looking forward to the Green Lantern figures. |
