Maybe the thread title was a little harsh but I saw a Deathstroke and was all stoked out about him then noticed "Wait, no sword??"...I looked through a few more and it just seems these guys are all missing the mark.
Perhaps Hasbro spoiled us with Marvel and I think that has alot to do with it right there because I can't seem to part with cash for any of the DC 3 3/4 stuff. So to guys that dig this line, what would you say to make the rest of us change our tune? |

I tried to get into this line. I only have one the GL from the First Night DVD with slightly better articulation but overall this line was put on hiatus for reason.
When compared to MU or Joes it looks nice but it could have been so much better. With a rich history that DC has, this line had a lot of potential but it was IMO overshadowed by the DCUC line and it went away. Maybe it will make a comeback. I am still looking for "Evil " Mary Marvel if anyone has one to spare.

Lack of accessories for Deathstroke makes this answer a "Yes." I still can't bring myself to get one...even at K-Mart clearance prices.

Yes, but you need to show them a good time first.

They're sucky but I like them. The Deathstroke is a great figure. So are a lot of them like the Public Enemies figures and the wave that came with the buttons.

The newer figures are good. The articulation was improved on most of them.
As for the accessories, well they mostly have none and for some figures (Superman, Batman, etc...) it's ok, but like mentioned, Deathstroke should have come with something, a gun, staff, sword, anything |

I have almost the entire DCIH collection, and they rock. I wish I had some pics of my Deathstroke, because he's armed to the teeth. Guns, knives, swords you name it, he's got it. Personally I thought the earliest body sculpt made the best figures. As Mattel added articulation they reduced muscle mass, basically they took the super out of superhero. I guess that's ok for weaklings and fattys, but I can't abide it. Last edited by Bujo; 01-15-2011 at 10:56 PM.. |

Yes, sadly they do suck. I gave the line chance after chance and bought way more than I should have. I'm more into DC than Marvel so I really wanted these to be great. The are getting a revamp with the GL movie coming out though. Rumor is they are actually in the 4" scale now but we've only seen one pic so far of a 4" figure. Can't get a lot out of it but the sculpting at least looks better. Hopefully the articulation is there too.
