Guys, I was going to get myself a big toy this Christmas (I got divorced early this year and this will be my Christmas present for myself) and I am thinking on going ahead and buying a JSI F-14. A few questions came into mind.
1. Do GI Joe 25th Style figures fit in it? Both at the Pilot and RIO seats? With the canopy completely closed? Does anyone have pics? 2. The only pics I have seen is the wings fully swept and half swept. Do the wings fully open? 3. Do the landing gears retract fully into the fuselage? 4. Finally, if you had the choice and can only get one, which would you get, the JSI f-14 or the Star Wars BMF? I'd appreciate any input guys. Thanks.

1. The 25th figs do in fact fit in the jet.
2. The wings do swing forward. There are a lot of features and opening parts. For Example, the air brakes, the glove vanes, the foot pegs and ladder holder, the tail hook as well as the nose cone and radar dish 3. The landing gear is the best and most realistic to date on any plane. Unfortunately, it is very fragile. 4. Definitely get the JSI F-14. It is true to scale and blows the Star Wars BMF out of the water. I love the Star Wars BMF as well, but it is still undersized. Note that my F-14 is the first edition that had the spots, there are newer ones where it is more subdued. You can always paint it. Mine is also the exclusive lit up version. 5. Check out my profile and look at my albums for all of the 1:18 scale stuff with 25th figs. I have, perhaps everything. Not all paint schemes but 1 of each from 21st Century Toys, BBi Elite Force, Admiral Toys, Pegasus, JSI.

Wow, Starfighter, not only is that F-14 very detailed, cool, and huge, but your whole collection is straight-up awesome. I prefer smaller vehicles, especially when they can only hold one or two figures, since they're easier to handle... but wow, your collection is just terrific. Just... wow. Wow.... I'm awe struck man... I thought the Star Wars BMF and BAT-AT were large toys...
Just out of curiosity, what is the size of the F-14? I keep looking back to those pics, and just... damn, that's cool.

Pretty much what Starfighter said. It's a great aircraft and worth the cash in my opinion. Ace from the 3-pack looks great in it.

So does Mutt in the Pilots Seat and Junkyard in the RIO (Radar Intercept Officer) Seat. I have seen the ARAH Cartoon many a time. I could not stand that all of the team could seem to fly the Skystriker. Those Hotdogs!
