I discovered my vintage Star Wars toys in my parents basement. I never really got into them and not interested in keeping them. What is the best way to sell them...I don't really want to sell them on Ebay because I never have used it before and really don't feel like learning. I have about 2 dozen figures and a few playsets with orignal boxes...all in "played-with" condition.
Thoughts? |

Thoughts? Seriously, if you don't want to deal with ebay, I'd try to organize everything (get all the weapons/parts matched up with the correct figures/vehicles) Then figure out either single prices for each item or make up lots of the items (All figures, all vehicles, etc...) and sell them on here and other Star Wars forums Depending on the playsets, I might be interested in them. I think I'm done with the figures though |

That would be great! BUT you are in NC and I am in Indianapolis....I would need someone closer. I will work on getting the pictures...I didnt have room in the car so I had to leave them at my parents home. I plan on bringing them back with me at Xmas.

If you only want to sell them to someone that can pick them up I'd go with Craigslist.

Agreed, I didn't know you were looking to sell in person. You may be able to get the same amount on craigslist as you would selling in forums, but I'd be prepared to get below market value. It may help to see if there are any toy shows around your area. You can always go to one of those (not as a dealer) for $5 or so then sell the toys to a dealer. He'll also give you below market value because he needs to make a profit, but it'd probably be more than you get on Craigslist
