Does anyone here have access to the Wheeled Warriors toys, to count the accessory attachment holes?
I've looked at numerous videos and images, but sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between a hardpoint and merely where a screw was placed. I wrote to a couple of old fan sites, months (even years) ago, but nobody ever returned my e-mail. (One guy, whom I guess is a somewhat famous toy reviewer, even came out with a video claiming that someone under various names was pestering him about his collection -- right after I wrote to him -- so I suspect he thought I was said person. His mistake, yet my loss.) If anyone's particularly eager, it would also be nice to know the precise weight of each vehicle body (free of wheels and other attachments). But in any case, I need each vehicle's hardpoints -- number, location, and facing, including those reserved for the running gear -- in order to further my free RPG adaptation. Update: Here's the list of hardpoints I've identified, separate from any chassis or extenders. Armed Force - 0 back - 0 front - 2 left (1 on nose, 1 by rear axle) - 2 right (1 on nose, 1 by rear axle) - 4 top (1 per front fender, 1 behind canopy, 1 at rear) - ? under Battle Base - 4 back (2 left midline, 0 lower hole for ramp pivot, 2 right edge) - 2 front (2 on canopy) [box mural shows them on opposite side] - 4 left (1 by handle, 2 by door, 1 at lower rear) - 5 right (3 by door, 2 at forward midline) - 2/4 top (2 at rear left, 2 concealed at front right) - ? under Beast Walker - ? back - 0 front - 1 left (on head) - 1 right (on head) - 6 top (1 per leg, 2 on spine) - ? under Drill Sergeant - 1 back (at upper middle) - 0 front - 1 left (at rear) [What is the circle near the chassis?] - 1 right (at rear) [What is the circle near the chassis?] - 4 top (3 on nose, 1 by rear fans) - ? under Flingshot [unreleased; based on catalog photos] - ? back - 0 front - 2 left [presumed same as right] - 2 right (1 fore, 1 mid) - 2 top (1 mid right, 1 presumed mid left) - ? under Gun Grinner - 1 back (upper left) [Thanks for the photo, StalemateSB!] - 0 front - 1 left (by rear axle) - 1 right (by rear axle) - 4 top (2 out front, 1 on canopy, 1 at rear right) - ? under K.O. Kruiser - ? back - 1 front (on chin) - 2 left (1 on cab, 1 on box) - 2 right (1 on cab, 1 on box) - 5 top (1 on hood, 4 in box) - ? under Quick Draw - ? back - 0 front - 2 left (1 by front axle, 1 by rear axle) - 2 right (1 by front axle, 1 by rear axle) - 4 top (1 on nose, 1 behind canopy, 1 rear right, 1 rear left) - ? under Saw Boss - ? back - 0 front - 1 left (behind canopy) - 1 right (behind canopy) - 2 top (1 on nose, 1 behind canopy) - ? under Spike Trike - ? back - 0 front - 2 left (1 at front axle, 1 at rear) - 2 right (1 at front axle, 1 at rear) - 4 top (1 on nose, 1 at middle, 2 at rear) - ? under Spray Gunner [unreleased; based on catalog photos] - ? back - 0 front - 2 left (1 mid, 1 aft) - 2 right [presumed same as left] - 2 top (mid) - ? under Terror Tank - ? back - 0 front - 2 left (1 on turret, 1 at mid) - 2 right (1 on turret, 1 at mid) - 3 top (2 on turret, 1 at rear) - ? under [What is the hole under the nose?] Trail Blazer - ? back - 0 front - 0 left - 0 right - 6 top (1 per leg, 2 on spine) - ? under Unreleased vehicles previewed in Mattel's catalog; limited information, under consideration: Grim Creeper and Bru-Toss. Not to be a sourpuss, but there's a thread above this one with five million views and a hundred thousand replies -- yet across several fora and social media platforms I've been posting for years on a variety of '80s toys and cartoons, offering much and asking little, but have seen pretty much zero interest. If I'm somehow barking up the wrong tree, where in the world *can* I go to find enthusiasts?

In the months since, I've checked more images and videos, but it's still rather hard to distinguish when a hole is for pegs, a screw, or merely decoration -- especially on the bottom of the vehicles, which is so rarely shown. Because it's a free adaptation of the franchise for an RPG, all I can do is offer credit to whom ever manually confirms the number of attachment points on the vehicles. (Of course, I could be barking up the wrong tree by asking for free help, if, say, it's de rigueur to buy one's self a set on eBay -- so please let me know.) |

Your biggest problem here is that this forum is dedicated to 18th-scale action figure lines, which WW wasn't. There simply aren't a lot of guys here that know the answers you seek. The other, even larger issue is that WW is such a niche property there pretty much is no fandom for it at all. There may literally be no person on the planet with access to both the full range of the toys and the time, means, and (frankly speaking) the care to weigh these items for you.
If you want the real answers your best bet absolutely is to buy them yourself. Your smarter move may be to simply not care about the 'proper' amount of hardpoints and just go with your gut. You're extremely unlikely to get any pushback from the hardcore fandom as I don't think it really exists. I'd kill for this line to get rebooted in 18th scale, tho. I've used a couple of the 'evil brains' for customs unrelated to WW and thought them neat. |

Little rubber guys forum could help? I’m a fan and have owned nearly all the toys since being a kid. However, I still have no idea what you are referring to or requesting. There is a world of knowledge out there. Could easily email a seller on eBay and ask to count the holes for you, worst they could say is “no”. Good luck and YO JOE!
