I'm including shipping, as well, since it's Pulse exclusive and Premium is a farce of a service.

I know we've had some Ross/5 Below anomalies due to distribution in the past, but normally that happens and aftermarket prices creep back up. These things aren't even on the aftermarket yet.

I think that depends on the amount of repetition; everybody gets tired of a broken record regardless if they're like minded individuals on a forum board or hobby tolerant family members and friends. At the same time price changes can lead to interesting discussions on production, management, and financial decision practices. It really depends on how the conversation evolves. Does one keep beating the same dead horse or do they find new horse to beat to death.

I guess my bewilderment belays my fury. I truly don't get what the fuck they're thinking. We can all see the effect it's having on sales. When was the last time you could have gotten figures years after they were released at significant reductions in cost still at the major retailers?

that's likely isolated. i scan two transformers (they are motorcycles that share the same mold, but they are in two different series as two different characters) every time im in walmart because the prices for these basic figures in these assortments is ridiculous. they are 24.97 here. two weeks ago, i saw one of them on facebook group for 9.00. mine are still scanning 24.97.
12.99 is the "right" price for tvc. considering, they were 9.99 and 12.99 was when hasbro was legitimately able to claim "paint applicantions" and "tooling" as an excuse to raise them to that price at that time. |

is $12.99 a reduction?
I paid that for the Andor wave at target recently and then for the same figures paid $13.99 at Walmart. I presumed they are supposed to be $12.99, but I haven't bought a regular TVC at a store in a year. |

i just want 1:18 transformer motorcycles. i dont have any interest in transformers lore or whatever. i just want robot motorcycles for my figures. 25 bucks for these is stupid, from a casual buyer perspective. from the perspective of a kid - who toys are for - it's a non starter. why pay 25 bucks for a small motorcycle which is not in scale with the rest of the series it's apart of, when i can buy 25 final faction figures/2 marvel 5 poa figures/a whole jurassic park set with dino and person? if it werent for mentionining the 5poa marvel thing there'd be no hasbro thing at all as an option.
i would feel the same way if i could get 1:18 cars and trucks and such. i dont care about who they are, or what they do, or whatever. just "can i put chuckles in this?" |

That escalated quickly, as the kids say. Quote:
I'm noticing that on ShopDisney, the last few rounds of coupons they e-mailed me, were not good on the troop builder sets that they're selling.
