That sucks. What's odd to me, is that the past few times I've grabbed TVC figures for $12 at Target, is that it's showing $12 as the regular price for TVC, not a sale/clearance/discount price.

The Jabba/Bobas throne room is down to about $150 with this deal, in case anyone is interested.

This is where Hasbro is going to buttfuck itself. How are there any of these left in stock? Clearly a sign that it was overpriced to begin with, and as someone who paid full price, it makes me never want to buy something like that again at full price.

You're not wrong. That's why I stopped paying full price for toys halfway into 2022 (and should have stopped about 6 months sooner than that). I'm not even going to grab this at $150. I don't think the stock is limited on this either. This could genuinely end up at Ross or Ollie's at this rate (like that Mando dark Trooper exclusive last year).

Not that I love saying I told you so (I do love it), but I was pretty vocal on the throne room being over priced when it was first released. I said I'd wait on a discount, and the response at the time was that it was exclusive and likely would never see a discount. And now here we are.

That convention exclusive Classified Crimson 3 pack STILL isn't sold out despite being heavily discounted for 6+ months.

I pretty much only buy basic figures at full price day 1 now, and even that is probably foolish. The new Imperial hallway, Tatooine street corner, and even the Shriek Hawk Mando pack are sitting in my Amazon cart waiting to be discounted.

I thought the Throne Room was overpriced, but I also thought it was a "mini-Haslab" so expected stock to be pretty limited. The got me once.

It really does seem like shitshow over there. And as bad as clearance is for TVC, it's double for TBS. That can't possibly be sustainable for retailers.

The thing that really irks me is that three times now we've been sold on "Buy this item NOW - it's only made on demand for a limited window and then it's gone forever" and yet these items then sit around forever.

Bib's Palace, Sabine/Chopper, and now the E-Wing were all sold to us as that and yet there they are, still sitting around. Are we to believe these were made to order and yet so many canceled them that they came in stock and stayed in stock? or was Hasbro just blowing smoke up our asses trying to make FOMO a thing?

After winding up with 5 full price "Limited order" Sabine packs that will probably hit half off soon and paying full price of the Palace that continues to rot, I canceled the E-Wing. I'm not playing this game anymore, Hasbro. Don't scare me into thinking I better pre-order all I may ever want right now at full price because I'll never get them again and then have plenty of them for clearance.

if it's not mandalorian, rebels, and maybe the skeleton crew, i dont need it. i am pretty much only buying those figures when they come available and not waiting for a discount on them (fomo). vehicles i dont need but i am more likely to get at a huge discount.

im kind of mad i didnt get the razorcrest, but im also not because i dont have the room. i dont even have the space ready for the ghost yet.

outside of star wars, im not paying full price for anything else hasbro has. except for the 97 sentinel because of course that thing is going to sell out and not ever be available.

I also believe strongly that Sentinel will be in demand that outpaces the stock.

That Sentinel will definitely sell and sell well. Same with Dragon Man.

Star Wars seems to be the issue in terms of the stuff just sitting after. Legends exclusives tend to sell through pretty well.
