To be honest, I think the $131 is ONLY that "low" because they intend to retool Mando's Starfighter into a proper TPM N1.
I'm sure there's very much a market for those still. |

i'll let norm macdonald speak for me this time. but also, the first response is pretty much how i felt about this figure all along: Quote:
This should have been the figure packed at 2-3 per case over the last few years.

Dude, on Hasbro Pulse, and the newest restocking pre-orders on Entertainment Earth
Even the previous ultra PEGWARMERS are now 17 bucks. Queen Amidala 17 bucks. . . . . Admiral Ackbar 17 bucks. The only ones that are 15 bucks on Hasbro pulse are ironically the second to newest pre-order stock. They can't even keep the 17 buck price point off badly selling inventory they're that incompetent and just have to tow the Management Line THAT HARD. |

oh also, you arent getting a mando figure with the n1 because they're not going to go through the trouble of bringing him back for 17 bucks and pack him in with the ship.

lol Yeah, not overthinking it at all... This is just entertainment. Seriously, find a tiny bit of perspective and maybe you'll also find some actual joy in the stuff you supposedly enjoy. I swear, being miserable must just come with pop-culture geek territory. I was the same, more or less, but since putting this shit back in perspective, I get pissed more at nerdy whining than I do the pop-culture itself. I guess I need to work on putting nerds and geeks into perspective too.

It seems to me that the storyline continues to change, perhaps seeing how Din Djarin goes from being a Bounty Hunter to a Wielder of the Darksaber and also judging from the show's latest trailer we're bound to see Mandalorian starfighters tangling with Imperial TIE Interceptors meaning a ton more action in the air which I think it's awesome. So yeah no time to take breaks during flights or even deal with carbonized bounties. This is the way in season 3 so an N-1 Starfighter is much more equipped to combat those new threats more so when it's accordingly and appropriately modified.

phantom menace is why i had a total mental black out of star wars for a long time. that movie was total dogshit.
now, there are very few things from that dogshit movie that arent so bad. darth maul, top of the list. the naboo royal star ship, also up there. the n-1 honestly isnt so bad and it's pretty neat. i dont exactly HATE it being mando's ship, but like i said before - it's a star fighter. it's not meant to live in or travel in; and he made it pretty clear before it was blown up it was essentially what he lived out of. he's a hermit in the traveling sense, so he doesnt have a place to sleep; and he's not going to make these long space travel trips in a star fighter without having to go to the bathroom (because they're not meant for that kind of travel) so, unless he's getting bo katan's ship later - and i dont think they're going to fight over it, he needs something a bit more closely to the razorcrest. it is a pretty big oversight, all things considered. i cant imagine planet hopping and living out of space hotels is going to be something he wants to do- because that's all a star fighter can really do in the long term. |

Well, presumably the endgame is Din becomes Mandalore. Presumably, that's the planet where the castle that Bo is sitting on the throne of is I'd wager (although they did say the planet was glassed, so maybe it's the moon that she was using as a base before?).
Also can't underestimate the possibility of Din using Slave 1 and hanging out with Boba, like how Din became co-main of Book of Boba Fett late in that season. |

Yeah, seems silly, but I've been feeling like the toy industry as a whole has gotten wise to the rebound value of action figures on the secondary market. It almost feels like retailers in general (at least their online counterparts) are more inclined to sit on product at full price longer rather than clearance it. I see less hardcore clearancing in stores too (except Target). Walmart used to aggressively cut prices progressively over a short time frame, now they seem to have switched to a less drastic price slashing model carried out over a longer period of time. I dunno...it wasn't too long ago you could nab TVC, Fortnite, Jurassic World/Park and other stuff for $5.00/figure and under, but I just don't see that anymore...or at least it's a lot less common. Maybe I'm just not looking as much as I used to though.
