I guess it was a store return because Walmart today had a lone Mado Kreis Mando/Child/Spider pack in minty fresh shape laying there. Was full price, not the online price, but it's better than dealing with Walmart's shipping.

For any vintage collectors out there I just put in an order for;
4 cases of Walmart exclusive 1979 ANH card Stormies,
2 cases of RotJ Imperial Gunners,
and a single case of ESB sensor scope R2s.

P.S. I ship better than Walmart does. All figures ship bubble wrapped and in a solid box.

Are they thicker than the initial Target exclusive versions or the same?

Judging by recent Retro stuff, I'd guess probably not, but I dunno for sure. Does anyone even have them in hand yet?

They felt thicker when I opened mine the other day, but I don't have any from the Target run.
