this 26 dollar boba fett is not a 26 dollar figure.
there's so much air in this box. weapons are separated in three white tissue paper pouches. there's nothing for these stormtrooper heads to rest on other than the ground (as an accessory they dont make sense. AND inexplicably they have neck ball pegs.) take these stupid helmets, take the stupid jet pack effects, and it's a 13 dollar figure. oh my god. if it didnt have soft goods cape thing i think i'd be pretty pissed. i was dreading this figure coming, honestly. im not surprised how im not really thrilled with the value/cost of it. the first positive thing i can think of is i can replace the super rotj fett figure i keep on my tv stand in my bedroom with it and put that one at my work desk for something cool to look at all day long and it's standing next to my first release walmart mando/baby yoda figures. the second positive, is i made the right choice not preordering the other 26 dollar fett figure. I don?t ever understand when collectors complain about a new product devaluing their collection. Hasbro does not care about the value of past figures be it does not help their business. They might say they don?t want to lower the value of collections for peeps but they don?t mean it. Routinely Star Wars figures have been made after customs were going for high prices. Also Star Wars black series archive. Toy investments might give someone enough to buy another toys but it won?t help them retire. Buy stuff and collect what Looks great is where I have gone. I?m selling off some vintage things even because it?s a pain to care for and I really like part of classified.
Still, no TVC figure is a $26 value.

The fact that they couldn't squeeze out one modern Boba at the standard retail that's ever increasing despite of tooling is one of the many reasons Hasbro can go fuck themselves
Being asked to pay 15 for repacks makes me feel like we're actually paying to keep the price of the other lines under control

Yep.
That obiwan 3 pack is 50 bucks. 2 figures are repacks. But there are people that have to have every star wars toy that will buy it. Hasbro thinks they can keep raising prices because enough people arent speaking with their wallets. I hate myself for buying this boba fett, but if i didn't id end up paying more later on like i have for vc grievous and xizor and a few others. Hasbro doesnt learn anything because people are going to buy boba fett regardless the cost and i hate myself for being one of them. I am glad i exercised self restraint and didn't get that second not worth 26 bucks fett like a chump. |

The TVC figures are not worth a $17 price tag either. I?m thinking I?ll bank some cash instead of using it now and see what goes on sale or clearance later in the year because suddenly TVC figures are coming in stock. Might backfire but I?m not springing these prices for figures that I largely don?t like and there are not many I?m pursuing.
