I watched the Hasbro Star Wars Emily short youtube vid of the Dark Times TVC Darth Vader and a review by a New Zealand collector.
Good to see he comes with alternate nose pick hand and fist hand. Curious if Marauder Task Force hands would fit. Emily mentioned they previously didn't include TVC alternate hands out of concerns of the bubble aesthetics. Um, I think collectors would rather have extra stuff in the bubble and give less shits about how the bubble looks. She also said it has dumbbell hips, but I couldn't tell from the NZ review. |

im relieved to know that i do not have the rogue one vader, but the empire strikes back re-release vader. so, i have two vaders open the one i showed was my definitive vader and a version before that one. now i need to figure out if that one is better or worse than the empire strikes back re-release and sell the one that is not the best.
so, i threw out there in some thread my over arching vision of my toys where maestro is my ultimate big bad and his lackey is malgus. under them is a gang of darth mauls which is a bunch of maul figures i had to have; and then there's a more organized group of vaders; and because my universe is like an open multiverse they're plucked out of time at different periods and can cross paths with anakin as a padawan. i dont care if it's canon or not. this is my thing to make all of my 4" scale toys playable. i dont want many vaders, because it's darth vader. i'll probably even have them fight off who's the best vader to be the ultimate vader. and then he's going to go for malgus. i just wish i had some time to build all the stuff i want to build for this, and write all i want to write. |

i think hasbro is more to blame than disney over this for shipping.
but i do blame disney for keeping mando and book of bumble fett figures late, and hasbro going along with it. there should have been some kind of agreement where figures would come out the following tuesday from the premiere like it used to be for the movies. there are things like nda's. there's no reason why people got season one mando figures while he's on the show with his new armor on. or boba fett from mando's series is what, 2 years late now? and they want us to pay more for these things? |

Well, at least the Reva figures showing up now or two years form ow will work for her spin-off series I guess.
Found it odd as hell that the only totally positive review I saw of Obi-Wan was on National Review of all places. |
