Has Hasbro just given up on distributing TVC in stores? I have two Walmarts and two Targets in my area and nothing. The only wave I have seen in over six months was the Walmart Wicket wave, and that was one case in one Walmart. I know that distribution for all toys are bad, but I have seen Black Series and Marvel Legends most recent waves in stores. Jazwares is able to get its 4" Fortnite figures into stores, I just bought the most recent releases yesterday. I have have pre-ordered TVC online now because that is the only way to get it, but that is not as much fun as finding it in the stores.

Anyone know if they're going to be available everywhere or are some of them Walmart/Target exclusives. I gotta finish my Mando TVC collection, but not if it means fucking about with Target's preorders. I've had better luck with Walmart, but I'd rather just get 'em all in one place and call it a day. What's left from the main characters now...IG-11 and that other Mando chick? Who else?

No, I still see TVC in stores all the time, though I find them more often in Walmart than in Target. They're fun to find in-store, but I sure wouldn't depend on it. Online orders for safety, then finding in stores sooner is just a bonus.

One thing that I did see that was awesome was a dad in Target buying the latest wave of Black Series. He was there with his three daughters and he was explaining to them why he loves to collect figures and his daughters were excited that he found these for his collection. I share my hobby with my two boys, and when I come home from work they ask me if I have any new "figs" to put into my cases. Rarely am I able to say that I do. When I do they will yell to my wife "Going to the basement mom, dad has new figs." And we run down to the basement, they pick the figures they want to open, and we talk about them and talk about where we want to put them on the shelf. When it comes from online, there does not seem to be as much excitement from them. "Dad you got a box, Mom put it in the basement." Maybe it is just me and I am not as excited because I did not go out and hunt down the figures myself and bring them home like a caveman bringing home mastadon meat. |

Totally. I’m dumbfounded that Rogue One figures would be released again. Even at Ross they pegwarmed tor a while because they are so overproduced. The ANH Leia too. So many others they could have repacked and that is what Hasbro picked. Unreal. Excited about the ROTS Kenobi because we missed him the first time. I loved the Rogue One film but hate to see how Hasbro has handled the merchandise for it.
