Yeah that's what I have been looking for. Havent seen it any where since Walmart is hung up on Rey & Rose. Amazon was 29 bucks which is better but still double.

I looked them up on Walmart.com and they're like $18 bucks or something... free shipping on orders of $30 or more too.

I wish their in store selection was better. Unfortunately it is just as lack luster as previous year's. Weird though that Walmart.com is scalping Enfys Nest for $16! It isn't a 3rd party either it is actually Walmart.

Apoligies if is is in the worng spot, let me know if so.
Anyone I the NYC area looking for wave 2 TVC, Mid Town Comics had them as of yesterday and about a dozen of the Range Troopers (or whatever they are). I'm staying to OT and RO myself so grabbed 2 tank drivers for my tank. They are charging 14.99 but so is BBTS. In the past I'd refrain from comic shops due to the mark up but it seems everyone is charging the same mark up these days. So, until Target gets on the ball with their distribution I guess I'll just hit up comic shops from now on. I'll see what Forbidden Planted has. P.S. Their web page has them up but never had to have anything ship from there so I can't attest to the shipping rates.

Got the imperial assault tank yesterday - really nice toy. Obviously it's not a main battle tank but it has a decent armament for anti-personnel or taking on lightly armored vehicles. I like that it is more of a utility vehicle - it can serve as a transport (troops/material/weapons) as well as a fighting vehicle. Considering the market and what is available for tanks I do not feel like I overspent on the vehicle - I don't think I would of bought it for the original price but 40 dollars is palatable.
The detail to the body is amazing as is the cockpit area. Makes you realize that Hasbro can churn out a quality product. I wish they would do something similar with GI Joe - just release a re-imagined classic vehicle (maybe one for joe and one for cobra) each year in a limited "vintage" release for us collectors. The original price for the tank is way above the range a parent would want to spend for a children's toy so it's obvious the vintage line is more geared towards collectors. I'd be willing to pay full price if they could release joe/cobra vehicles of this quality. |
