My Son is three. He has LOVED Thomas since he was just shy of two. Lately I find myself getting completely hooked! It must be my collector nature - but I cannot go into a toy store without searching for Thomas Trains that we haven't seen. There are so many of them.
It doesn't help that they play into to collectibility of them by 'retiring' older models. Some are really hard to find. Anyone have any Thomas Trains for sale or trade? I'm addicted! |

It's cool that your little one likes them, but seriously you're gonna look back on this post in a couple of years and think what the heck was I doing. LOL!

Wow,my 3 year old son are into these as well,I get him 1 whenever I go to 1 of the discount stores to look for joes. I think he has 6 or 7 of them so far. These are the only toys of his that he refuse to let any of his cousins play with. I think my mother in law got him the table set from tru.

What's really bad is that I can NAME all of them. Its like with Joes... I know who Windmill is - but the average person off the street would have no idea. Well, I know who "Smudger" is... and I'd bet not many people know that. If I'm ever on Jeopardy and the $5000 question is Thomas the Train - I'm set!

The crazy thing is that I didnt know they came in plastic and metal, I tried to get my son one of the double car ones from tj maxx recently and he told me that he didnt want it and pointed out 1 of the metal ones by the register. My wife pointed out that the 1 he didnt want was plastic.

Holy spit! I thought I was alone on getting wrapped up in Thomas so I'm glad to see others are getting the bug as well. My 20 month old son goes insane for Thomas. I too find myself caught up in looking for trains in each store I go into. I've actually come to enjoy the show too. I'm trying to find wooden Harvey and Emily for christmas without paying an arm and a leg.
