I think they're great. They can mingle in with the DC Universe chaacters having the same style of articulation/body.

Can't wait for these. MOTU is my favorite line from the 80's. It was the first action figure line I was into as a kid.

Let's be clear. These figures will look like the 2000 line but have the articulation of the Batman/Superman figures. They are sculpted by the fourhorsemen just like the 2000 line and the Batman/Superman figures. They will be the same characters that they always were in both the classic and the 2000 lines as well as the cartoon and comics.

i meant the god awful hair bowl 70's eric foreman haircut that heman had in the 80's. The 2k2 style was much better and prince adam was a kid THEN became uber roided out heman. Thats what im hoping for again not the 80's hair do and costume designs. The 2k2 line was the best as far as designs and styled with the updated look and im hoping thats where it goes. not back to the more 80's look with the hair designs and what not. :>

There was....but i believe it was scrapped..for now anyways. Mattel killed themselves with the 2000 line IMO. I never did quite understand why the line died. It wasn't because it wasn't popular right? Just bad marketing? EVERYTIME and i mean EVERYTIME i went to the store those things sold like crazy EXCEPT the billions of different He-mans and Skelators. Why cases full of He-mans were shipped and not more of the the villains/lesser characters is beyond me, it was hell trying to find those guys. |

That is awesome that the MOTU line is coming back. I missed out on the 2002 line and kind of regretted it since He-man was one of the very 1st action figure I had as a kid, but then again he didn't look like the he-man I played with. So I'm going to wait and see if I want to collect the new line, but seeing King Grayskull, i'm probably hooked already.
Man all these 80's toys we are getting now are bringing back such happy memories. I"m so stoked right now you wouldn't believe it. Now here's hoping Thundercats and MASK follow suit soon!! |
