The official Playmates site lists the series 2 assortment complete with figures. Internet search shows a couple of reviews and previews of series 2 from toy sites/ collector's blogs.
Does anyone know if the wave/series was in fact produced, or if there were just a few made for press purposes? Don't really care about the figures per SE, but I want the tech screens that supposedly come with the figures in this wave. As oppossed to the ones that come with the bridge set, the extra screens are full frame ones. I need at least 4 of these because I want to recreate the corridor from Total Recall that had the full-body scanners. |

I think they ended up being online exclusives... like really exclusive... like only one site sold them... maybe it was Entertainment Earth... not sure though... and I think they only sold it as entire wave/set too. Could be wrong though. *shrugs*

The never got past the proto stage although some early tests probably got out, I saw a couple on ebay that appeared to be of the "midnight chiniese" variety along with "unmasked" John Conner from the Terminator salvation line, but that is it.
Playmates claimed they would have a way for fans to recieve the rest of the birdge, but at this point still now word, I doubt it's even on thier list now. I know a bunch of people who just bought some of teh figs on clearence since (Pretty much) the extras were the same. The only thing would be the screans (which if desperate I suppose someone could buy with another bridge).

I don't believe they actually ever came out. They were solicited and then canned. Playmates put everything on hold.

I was always waiting for the Kirk in space suit to come out because it is supposed to have the final piece to the transporter playset. Those bastards!

Yeah those never were released - which was too bad because those were much better figures than the series 1 release.

Never was able to complete the bridge set ...maybe if Playmates still have license they could release the bridge pieces in the new movie.
Doubt it.
