Well, like I said in about 500 other threads...I went on my 1st POC hunt today-with that today was my 1st time back in TRU.
I actually drive 30 min away even though there is one literally down the street...just because the further one (Livingston, NJ) is always clean, orderly and I generally get lucky. (Like I did today). So here are some things both Joe and non-Joe alike that I noticed: Ok, 1--I'm pretty sure I knew this but Terminator Salvation figures are absolutely awful. The T RIP and 700 were clearanced for $2.98 and being STOKED about my Spirit/QK find..AND a big mixer of verses...I figured wow, this might be cool...after further examination......there is no way I'd display them...ever. Even for 3 bux...they're just awful. 2-I keep wanting that ROC Mocasin for custom work, but I cant spend that cash right now--are ROC things ever gonna be clearanced!? 3--I take it the Skeletor/Luthor set is abundant everywhere? Should I buy soon or do you think they'll be cheaper than 29.99 in the not too distant future? 4--If the Galactus figure got any cooler I might crap myself. Same can be said for MANY of the Star Wars stuff I peeped. 5-Still in awe, and nicely suprised that they still had CG Troop Builders in stock. F--I used the bathroom and didnt wash my hands...the guy who touched the sink before me was gross and I had hand sanitzier on my key chain. |

Ooo... Ooo... my turn. *ahem*
TRU Observations: They suck. LOL. TRU Questions: Why does my TRU not even have The Cube yet? They have a Star Wars cube & a Tinkerbell cube... but not The Cube!!! But with my luck they probably put it out today when I couldn't go. LOL.

I wish! They are based on the Tron sequal coming out in Dec. The best thing IMO from the line is Flynn's Lightcycle which is an upgrade from the original one. Looks a lot like the old one with an updated front wheel. I picked it up because I always wanted one ever since they came out back in the 80s. Never did see it at the toy store when I was a kid.

I feel the same way. I just can't ever really remember seeing anything Tron related in toy stores.
I can remember a line in the back of the deli to play the coin op..I can remember the Atari game (?)...but never any toys. |

Even though the ROC Sting Raiders say $15.98, all TRU clearanced items are marked down even further right now. I think they are $12.98 here which is a good price for the vehicle and 2 figures.
Check the price scanners.
