A's I'm sure you all know whiplash from iron man 2 has been a hard figure to find because of a mess up I read about in toy fare. Anyway, I was curious if he's still hard to find? In my nor cal area I have seen him only once after endless searches when Joe hunting. I do not collect iron man figures, I just am a Mickey Rourke fan, so I thought if I saw whiplash I wpu
D pick him up. I finally found 4 in Antioch, CA. I took the 2 that were in the best shape, left the other 2. I think he will be easy to find now with the DVD is out for Iron Man 2, just a guess. Has anyone else seem him lately. It was cool to see him at last, just because it was something else to hunt for, I also picked up the Iron Man 3 pack Target exclusive just because it had whiplash for 9.99. If he has become an easy figure I will return 1 one of them, keeping money on my TRU card for the Joe wave 2 vehicles. I have also found lots of good SW vintage Foils, can't believe I found some lukes and a Bubba Fett the revenge of the sith foils are much easier to find, well for my area and luck. Got off topic but whiplash info would be great! Thanks |

I've passed on him each time I've seen him. Once was in a Target 3-pack, and once as a single at TRU. I just don't like the look of that figure.

I know some people found him along with the Fusion Armor at CVS a while bacl, but Wal-Mart is now (as in today) putting out cases that include the Whiplash wave and Comic Iron Monger Wave. Today was the first time I saw him in stores.

I totally agree with the look of the figure, they did a terrible job on him. Though I also think much of the Iron Man 2 should have had more charachtets then just all the suits. If it's going to be about the movie then put the characters in the series.IMO. For die hard iron man fans of the comics I can see why fans would like them. If I was a kid I would want to recreate scenes from the movie, like I did with SW and Joe cartoons. Now that I'm older things are different of course. Those I mentioned are the only iron man figures I ever got. But it was all about finding the so called impossible, well since the figures came out and I never saw whiplash, but then I read toy fair and hunted for him just when looking for joes of course. Not sure I will hold on to the figure, well see I guess.

I bought him with the purpose of repainting him and doing it right and the figures face itself looks so much better, seen him only 2x at TRU, mine is the Target multi pack version, I will be getting the Hammer Droid version and modding that to since its botched as well.
