Saw this and found it looked suspiciously like it was in scale with the joes. Check it out:

That's actually really cool. What version is that and how much?

I would collect G1-style TFs in Joe scale. Period.
I just can't get into the We Are All Insecticons-look of the film adaptations, though. Which is surprising, but still true.

I am not a fan of the Bay movies AT ALL, but I have always, ALWAYS wanted in-scale transformers for my Joes. So pulled the trigger. I'd like to see G1 Jazz, Prowl, Bumblebee, Sideswipe etc. in this scale!

It's the Battle Ops Bumblebee from the Hunt for the Decepticons. It was $60, a little high in my book. I had a $5 off coupon, but still pricey. It's got a ton of lights and electronics. I would have been much more happy with added articulation in the arms and neck and NO lights and sounds. Would have been cheaper too, I bet.

Can you imagine how cool JOE scale Sideswipe would be? All candy apple red? I'd pay $100 + for each and every G1 they put out.

When I was a kid, my biggest complaint about Transformers was that they weren't made to scale. I always wanted a Bumblebee that looked right driving alongside Optimus.
How does Battle Ops Bumblebee look next to MP Optimus?

I prefer Bay's Transformers. They were too square and boring looking for me back in the day. I dunno, just never really got into them until the movies hit.

You have forgotten the face of your father and should be sent west.
