Yeah, I have a pretty decent collection of the ToyBiz stuff, but I stopped collecting when they went to Hasbro. I mean, they are still cool figures, they just weren't the ones I had been collecting, I guess if that makes sense.

And the cool thing about the variant with the Toy Biz collection is that they are very different from the original figures, masked vs unmasked, shaved head vs mullet, etc, so its not like you have to look close to tell which one is the variant, which makes it cool when you have the original and the variant side by side in a collection.

I agree with the sentiments of a lot of people who say they liked the ToyBiz ML's better. They just looked cheaper(if that's the correct word I'm looking for) when Hasbro started making them.
On a similar note, I just bought the PITT build-a-figure off ebay, complete with Timmy. This thing is so freakin awesome. It may not be as tall as the Marvel Legends build-a-figures, but still kick ass.

I only have a couple of the older, Toybiz ones. From those that I have, I recommend Captain America (wave 1 and the one from the Face Off pack), Hulk (from the Face Off pack), and Daredevil (from the Face Off pack). I really dig those.

Are the ToyBiz and Hasbro figures compatible, or is there a noticeable difference?

I've never really been into ML's, but I do have Blade & Deadpool. After seeing what Hasbro has planned, I will be getting the SHIELD Agents, Ultimate Nick Fury, and those Hand Ninja's.

I think the ToyBiz and Hasbro ML figures are pretty well equivalent in my opinion. They each have their ups and downs. A lot of the ToyBiz ones suffer from having too much (yeah, I said too much) articulation, and therefore cannot stand worth anything, or their joints are just ridiculously loose, in general. The Hasbro ones, however, suffer from lack of paint applications, on certain (well, most?) figures. I mix them, though, and I find that just collecting what makes you happy, regardless of the company, is the best.
The only downside to some of the Hasbro ones, is the variants, and even some of the regular figures are incredibly expensive due to the fact they were ridiculously shortpacked. Deadpool and Juggernaut can run you upwards of $60. I just posted some pics of my ML collection when it was on my desk, in the collections thread, too, to give you an idea of what's out there.
