I vote "no"- save your $$$ bro. The SW line is friggin HUGE and neverending. I've been lucky and able to resist ... I only collected the 30th Anniversary Macquarrie set.

I saw No, but if you do, only chose 1 particular line and up to certain wave. Theres just too many to get all of them. For example my coworker started on SW recently but only limited himself to Classic Carded Empire Strikes Back figures.

I say yes. they look great. I've been umming and ahhing too. The thing that's saying 'yes' is that unlike Joes, Star Wars is actually sold in Oz.

I love SW, but I wouldn't collect it. Way too much money, far more difficult to pick up even figures you want (selectively), much more difficult if you want them MOC in pristine condition. Also, you are competing with so many different groups of people for things you want - collectors, kids, casual fans, folks who are speculating that the value will increase, and scalpers. Hasbro exclusives for SW are notoriously expensive (with Joes, they tend to be the same as the line or even a better deal!). All in all, collecting SW can be very frustrating and very expensive.

Too many fanboys in SW...like star trek they make collecting not fun.
Joes is a nice smaller community.

I only pick up Sith, Jedi, and the bigger named characters from the movies. Keep is fairly simple for me. The vehicles are just too expensive so they are a pass at the moment also. I would like to pick up the newest versions of some of the vintage vehicles but it'll have to wait.
