I'm in the same boat as you. I recently grabbed a classic carded boba fett. Now I suddenly feel the need to buy an AT-AT, snow speeder and Dak. Damn its hard, but so far I've been good on holding out...

Not worth it.
The figures are too small for the price their asking. My brother is a SW collector, and even he says so... |

i vote NO!!! run for the hills and don't look back!! the line is too freaking gargantuan to even start at this point in the game. i recently jumped onto TF as a side line to Joes and i'm pretty excited about the progress... but the price range is exorbitant compared to Joes, who have wooed me back into the matrix with the lovely POC. |

Why not!! Just get what you like and don't get burned out. I've been collecting for years and that's what keeps me sane.

Buy EVERYTHING. Spend what money you're not using for Joes on Star Wars figures. Screw paying bills, eating, having a car, a place to live, A LIFE, etc. Go ahead. Do it, DO IT NOW!!! ;)

Nobody can afford to collect both these lines. And isn't some of that stuff just repackaged potf2? I was looking at bossk and he didn't seem very articulated.

If you start buying SW IMO you need to set up some collecting parameters beforehand and stick to them or else things might get out of hand. Like buy only Empire Strikes Back stuff and once you finish with that you can move on to something else. IMO the greatest decision I ever made was to not buy any SW stuff... started 3 times, but ended up returning all of my stuff or giving them to my nephews as Christmas presents.

I have most of the vintage Kenner line...so I started collecting the modern Hasbro Star Wars figures from the Vintage Collection that came in the clam shells a few years ago. I now have the vintage ESB line...I MAY purchase the vintage Revenge of the Sith line that is coming shortly, but I will wait to see them in person.
