My sons SW collection is growing (no thanks in part to his dad ) but it's getting out of control for him to store/keep them.
Anyone have a good solution for a way to store the figures, with their accessories? I remember back in the day I had a C 3PO and Darth Vader cases that held figures, but I can't seem to find anything like that now. Ideas/suggestions are welcome. We're talking between 50 and 100 loose figures (for now lol)

I just bought some joe stuff off ebay that included vintage SW stuff too. The lot has two of the vintage Darth Vader cases in it. If you think they would work for the newer figures, I'd be happy to let them go. And for cheap, since I don't collect Star Wars.

I use Plano Stowaway 3700 boxes. They hold 12 figures each and keep all the figures and accessories together. A little pricey, but nothing gets lost or crushed and they stack pretty well.

I've always thought a big fishing tackle box would work well but it may be too expensive. My son likes peanut butter so we use the plastic jars after they were run through the dish washer. We could put several members of a team and their weapons in each.

Check out the hardware section in Walmart (near the screws and washers...). There are clear storage cases with adjustable sections. They will hold 12 figures with their accessories and it costs around $4. I use these for all my Joes, vintage and modern, and some other figures like Star Wars, minimates and others around those sizes.

I use Plano tackle boxes for my Joes. Have them all sectioned off with accessories. I can fit 12 in a tackle box, 3 rows of 4. It is hands down the best solution I've found since I've been collecting. Look around, you can find them for good deals. Just don't jump on the first place you find them. I've seen them for as low as $4 a box, or as high as $15 per. I usually look at sporting goods stores if Wal-Mart or K-Mart don't have them.
