haven't looked at Iron Man figures in a while. I'm still annoyed that I couldn't find ONE 6 inch Iron Man in his Mark VI armor.

Every store I got to Is PACKED with IM2 figs. Pegs are FULL, literally FULL, as if no 1 has ever bought 1...ever. Epic Fail for Hasbro. I have bought 2 IM2 items though. I grabbed a War Machine the other day, it was just too frickin sweet to pass up. Im gonna put him in with my Joes. Havent opened it yet to really check him out, but in the pkg dude is money. And the other thing I grabbed was the TRU box set. Awesome set IMO. Im not an IM collector, or a super hero collector in general, but it just jumped out at me so I grabbed it during the buy 1 get 1 half off sale at TRU. When I got up 2 the register she said they werent coming up as part of the sale but she put it through anyway. Matched them up for me biggest with biggest, small with small so I could save some decent money (I also had a receipt with some things I had bought the week before I was getting price matched). Thats cool when they're willing to do that cause Ive seen some places that wont, or you have to do it in seperate transactions.

Those figs are not moving around my area. The only ones that seemed to sell where the war machine figures.

Full pegs doesn't mean Iron Man 2 isn't selling. Properly stocked toyline will ALWAYS have full pegs so that, y'know, people can BUY STUFF.
Transformers 2 had full pegs for most of its retail run, are you all going to say THAT was an "epic failure for Hasbro"? My observations is that, Iron Man 2 has sold well. Certainly better (given retail space) than Wolverine, and maybe even RoC. My local Walmart was even starting to run short on Iron Man product shortly after the movie. I've seen the newest comic wave, and what appears to be some movie series restocks. But remember, when collectors clear out the new figures, what is left? The same shit that's been shipping for 3 months. Just because that is all you see doesn't mean the store hasn't gotten more and more recent stuff.

they are bad figures period.
why do you need 20 versions of one character and almost no one else? horrible idea.

these are overstocked everywhere..
20 armors, and 1 bad guy? that's a cluster-f waiting to happen. who thought this would be a hit? I can't believe there is essentially 1 character making up an entire wave, and the main bad guy from IM2 still has yet to show up on shelves. Average kid needs 1 Iron Man. Not a Deep-dive Im. Could give a s##t about a stealth op iron man. Definitely don't care about a Mark XX Iron Man. kids need 1. not 20. make some other characters for Iron Man to play with.
