Wait... why does Spider-man have a sword? I must have missed something in the past couple of crappy issue years.
As for Carnage, meh, pass. Mebbe to repaint him as Venom, but Carnage is kinda lame anyway.

Ironically enough, the only redeeming factor of "One More Day(uumn what a bad idea/story arc)" is that it retconned the entirely clone saga out of Spiderman.

The Clone saga was the only reason i read Spider-man in the 90's. After the whole "return of peters parents" turd, I could not stand it. When they brought in Ben, it was like the old 70's spidey was back. I agree that the idea of saying Ben was the REAL Peter was dumb, but as soon as they killed him, that was it for me. I would TOTALLY buy a Ben Reilly Monthly comic. I was SOOOOOO Excited when they did the 6 issue mini last year, as now Ben COULD be alive out there somewhere, even if it IS an alternate universe.....
