I was at Target the other day, well, I go there just about every day, but anyway, I saw a pack of these figures on the clearance shelf. They are call "Fearless Forces" and they look kind of like the ARAH Joes. Anyway, this figure caught my eye because the head looks like the PoC Firefly head.
I've considered getting it because I can use my trusty Dremel and make a nice custom from this head.

These are actually very well constructed. They have a screw in the back. Are easy to take completely apart. About the only real problem with them is that some of the arm molds have a bad sculpt when it comes to hand positioning. Swivel wrists really would of helped alot. Oh and the weapons sculpts are pretty cool and made of hard durable plastic. These are 10 times better than Corps figures in my opinion, but to each their own. As a side note I currently own 4 of these figures. I will get the two four packs once they hit the $3 range. One of them has a really awesome 1/2 melted/scarred face and another has a good head sculpt for a Heavy Duty custom.

I got the two four packs Sat. night, they were $4.98. I figured That was a descent enough price for a purchase. I am sorting out what to do with now. The one fig w/the hat instantly reminded me of ARAH Heavy Duty also.

Yeah, I thought that the vehicles had an overall suck factor. But there was a picture of this one on the back of the box (I didn't see it at the store) that looked like some kind of motorcycle/ATV with a big fat wheel. Might make a good custom, but I'd have to see it in person.

Thier heads are a tad bit too big/bulbous for a lot of the joe bodies even when dremeled. I tried a bald red headed russian guy from one of those 5 packs of these figures to make one an October Guard guy and it just looked terrible on any body cept bazookas I put it on...

Here is a link to what appears to be most of the range.
G.I. Joe Forum Discussions at The Terror Drome View topic - Fearless Forces --- Updated December 22, 2009 In my opinion it all looks pretty crappy. The weapons are the worst of it, the designs are ridiculous. With some paint and clever accessorising, some of the vehicles might make good Joe scale additions, but I don’t like any of the G.I. Joe vehicles, anyway. I think they are too small and toonish, so I’ll avoid these too. Some other tankers might make good use of them though, as they are certainly cheap enough to have a go at. - Ian |

The FearLess Forces is actually a fun, decent line. They weren't too appealing when they were first released in the crappy packaging, but I got hooked by the third release when they updated the packaging.
I don't own any of The Corps! figures except the vehicles, but if I had to compare to the Corps!, the FearLess Forces figures look much better in design and proportion, the only thing detracting it all would be the lack of wrist articulation. Vehicle-wise, The Corps! are much more better than the FearLess Forces vehicles. Other than that, I was so looking forward to the deluxe monster sets they were planning to release. |

They don't look that bad, i like to buy and frankenjoe with these kind of figures if they're cheap.
With a dremel, xacto and glue you can take advantage of these kind of figures. The hands don't look bad at all, and heads might work on some joes (Big guys like Bench Press, or Night Adder). If they have pockets or little details you can cut them and paste on other figs, or even take advantage of guys like that cowboy, and dremel the hat to have a new one. Torsos can be hollowed out, and used as plates, or you can scratch build something. Of course, if they're cheap.
