I mix every toy franchise I buy from. In my mind it's a massive ongoing story with the entire universe fighting with each toy franchise playing their small parts. Obviously some franchises play a bigger part like the Joes and SW. However, Marvel and DC play a big part in my mind as does Halo and Transformers.

In all seriousness maybe I'm just being a weirdo about it, but I can't mix my toy lines. Joes stay separate from SW and MU
They don't even end up on the same shelf if I can help it...when I think about it, I was like that as a kid I never played with different toy lines at the same time

I mix and match my toys a lot. I generally keep the lines separate based on scale, but some things lend themselves to any scale. The Rancor is a scary bastard regardless of being 6" tall or 3 3/4". The same can be said for Fin Fang Foom. Atom Smasher works better with the 3 3/4" figures.
Also tend to combine story lines from the comic books, movies, and cartoons, to make my own plots. Last edited by Bujo; 05-17-2021 at 10:38 AM.. |
