I mix them as needed... in one contest diorama submission i did a long time back, i had my cobras and joes fighting over the contents of a ancient alien pod that had crashed to earth eons ago... The pod contained three imperial droids.

At the moment Star Wars is seperate, but everything else get's mixed with my Joe verse-Resident Evil, Terminator, superhero's, Stargate, and pretty much any other property out there I like. But in my Joe verse, the Joe's do control the Stargate program, so that has the door open for a possible Joe/Star Wars encounter. For display purpouses, my shelf has Indiana Jones, Joe, Star Wars, superhero's, Robocop, Mortal Kombat, A-Team, Microman, Terminator Salvation, BBI, Forces of Valor, and Dragon Ball Z, all 1/18 scale of course.

Well, yes and no. I don't have many Star Wars things to display. I collect Biker Scouts, Stormtroopers and Boba Fett. I have an individual display case for the Scouts, troopers and Fetts, and I have an individual display case for my Snake Eyes, Fireflys' and a few other Joe things. So I don't really intermingle the 2 lines together much. I do have a small collection of figures that I "play" with, and I have about 5 or so SW figures that tend to work well with my collection.
I do have the Avatar gunship on display with my Joe stuff, but I have a Joe piloting it. I also did a custom using the SW Rebel Tank and have some 25th Joes manning that. That's about it, really.

Absolutely NO MIXING lines... unless it's a custom piece that uses parts from another line but is clearly built for 1 specific universe
or a Star Trek Orion Animal Woman or V.I.N.Cent from Blackhole |

When I was a kid I NEVER mixed anything--I mean I would mix within their own verses, like have the Rancor Monster and the Wampa duke it out..
Have Blizzard ride on the TF Water Mocassin--but it was always within it's own universe. Now that everything is comming together in terms of scale--I will absolutely display things together. I have V1 SE and SS on each side of (Bucky) Capt. America.. M.U. Iron Man and B.A.T.s getting ready to square off with an ED-209 You get the point....if it looks cool and the scale is right, I'll do it. |

I mix everything for the most part. Everything in the 4" range. I currently have my ROC Joes and MU figures in a CIC created with the Star Trek bridge playset. My K'kruhk and Yoda are hanging out with Dumbledore. Batman/Bruce and Tony are in a small armory made with pieces of the Star Trek bridge and the IM bases - they're checking out a new prototype armor they're collaborating on (Halo's Dare). I've got my MU Hand ninjas and Cobra Red ninjas gathering to meet their new master (a top secret custom I'm working on...). I've even got my Prince Dastan hanging from the mast of the Black Pearl which has the Ark of the Covenant in it's treasure hull. Mixing it up is the beauty of having a bunch of figures in the same scale.

I Mix ALL of my 1:18th toys.
All of my Reactive armor soldiers are equipped with Lightsabers. both the soft master and Obi wan are blade instructors. every platoon is equipped with a droid, robot or other mechanical device, and several medical droids bulk up the medical team. My son's army is equipped with battle droids, Stormtroopers, and his major vehicle is the AT-AT. My mercenaries ride in a converted Star trek Runabout, while my Night force's ride is the Millennium Falcon.
