The Hyve playset Shogi mentioned is definitely the hardest piece to get from the Sectaurs line and is probably the largest playset for action figures ever made outside of the flagg. Fort max is definitely it for Transformers, the thing is massive. Castle Greyskull for he-man though, really not what one would consider a holy grail. Greyskulls and Snake Mountains actually bring down values of auction lots cause everybody usually has them and they're heavier than heck. You put an Eternia playset up though, and that auction will sky rocket hundreds of dollars. |

I never thought about it that way with the castles. I've just started checking out ebay today, signing up again after 9 years of self control, and so many single toys' prices were killed for me once I saw the shipping nearly doubled the price.
Even if you wanted ONLY the GraySkull, you'd almost be better off getting the shell at a flea market and hunting for parts! I nevet knew BlackStar had a base, I totally preferred him to squatting He-Man. I'd love to see a list or gallery comparing all the bases for different lines. Which one really was the best? Quote:
Of the Blackstar line it's hard to find and mostly because, as was said before, it's pretty fragile. That's the same reason the Trobitt machine from the line is pretty rare too.

Rock Lords = Snarlie Narlie. Also Solitaire, the Jewel Lords & the wave 3 Shock Rocks are a total bitch to find.
Starriors= Bolar & Flashfist. Probably nobody cares now but "The Blank" from Dick Tracy. Last edited by Steelgrave; 05-30-2010 at 09:44 PM.. |

While we are at it, what are some good reference websites for a lot of these toylines? Of course, there is He-man.org and YoJoe.com, but are there sites structured like YoJoe.com that are for Transformers, Blackstar, TMNT, shoot, even Star Wars? (now I don't need to know My Little Pony...lol...but that IS pretty, and I mean "pretty", interesting, Gyre-Viper...yikes!)

ya gotta keep in mind that when Hasbro employees aren't doing GI JOE or TF or SW... they're working on this stuff. you gotta wonder how many good joe ideas come out of hasbro employees toiling over new little ponies. if working on ponies or mr potato head isn't your thing... you're gonna be thinking of other stuff while working, no??

Also the Humanoid & S.T.A.R. Buck Rogers Starfighter is also hard to find. Not sure if it's a grail. And the second wave of Micronauts aliens with the glow in the dark brains. ( I actually had all of those, it's painful to think about) |
