for anyone who missed these cuz the thread didn't get a lot of attention.
this is the Visionaries art that Hasbro sent Bill Merklein... and off of this art he would sculpt the 'heads' or whatever that would then be sent off to become holograms. (it's not all Visionaries in the link) http://www.hisstank.com/forum/toys/7...joe-lines.html it never occurred to me that holograms would start with sculptures. the use of holograms in Visionaries is because of Bill's idea to use holograms for B.A.T.s originally but at the time it wasn't cost effective for BATS (hence the linticular method used instead...) but eventually they figured something out for Visionaries.

Would they do that though? The big problem these days is that Hasbro and Mattel only seem interested in their flagship lines- which is a shame, because there are some great 80s toylines which would go really well if released today.

In the comic book, didn't most of the Visionaries - both Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords - (Spoiler alert! highlight the following text to read) die from some disease or curse or something propagated by the wizard Merklynn? It's been several years and I can't remember how it ended.
