A plane? Did you seriously just call the SR-Goddamn-71 a plane? You sir are a moron. The Blackbird is nothing short of a masterpiece, a marvel of aeronautical perfection the likes of which will never be seen again, and I challenge the honor of anyone who dare says otherwise!
I kid, I kid.

I kid, I kid. My dad is an electrician and was contracted to work on RAF Mildenhall here in the UK. Home of the SR-71s in Europe. Also got to touch it when I went to NY last May I got to go to the USS Intrepid (I know it sounds sad). So I do agree with you. |

It's weird you say that. It is one of my favorite aircraft of all time.

I do have a review up of the black F-22, the 1st True Heroes Raptor released in 2008. The price has gone up by 2 dollars to $26.99 however it is still worth it. It is the BEST Raptor for your Joes by far, smokes the GI Joe Thunderwing from Valor Vs Venom(which was F-22 based but really thick with small wings). |

71 is BEAST. I am fond of the A-12 it was derived from too(the original, not the A-6 replacement which was canceled).

As for my old Thunderwing, I use it as a F-22 refitted as Trainer/Bomber; It's roughly the equivalent of the Joes having a Mud Hen in the fleet, since they oddly enough lack one. Also, I've had the opportunity of seeing both the SR-71 and its YF-12 predecessor up at Wright-Patterson; they're both a sight to behold, and their size and shape really gives off an aura of intimidation and unrivaled power.

The Blackhawk helicopter is nice, not as nice as the BBI BUT with a little customization this could be a real nice chopper.
The main problem I see is the seats in the back. My suggestion is take the blackhawk apart and shave the gay seats in the back out. Literally dremel them out. Then from 1:32 scale model kits you can frankenstein seats from a kit back there OR model your own with sculpy. Also there's no gattling gun / m60s or SAWs on the sides of the chopper. Very easy custom to make. All you really need is a nice gun to mount, and a simple tubular arm to mount the gun. It's a simple setup from the pics I've seen of mounted guns on a Blackhawk. Got some other ideas kicking around and just might grab a blackhawk to have on my Aircraft Carrier Diorama. Oh yeah eventually I'm gonna build an Aircraft Carrier diorama for my Skystriker and F-18 TH conversions/repaints. A blackhawk taking off with divers and rescue team aboard would be pretty cool actually. Last edited by jpdraven; 03-29-2010 at 03:51 PM.. |
