Did they ever release the "naked" Shredder from the back of the package? That thing is so awesomely ridiculous.

Every time I saw those things at a store I would look through them all trying to find a Shredder. Now I know why I never found one.

PM me if you have any TMNT questions. I used to read the Archie comics and was a serious TMNT collector back in the day. I'll try to help out best I can...

In October of last year they announced that the line would be TRU exclusive: Infinite Hollywood: TMNT products from Playmates, NOT DEAD? and announced new re-releases like the Movie Star Turtles. Unfortunately at the beginning of 2010 they announced that they were not going to release any new product until the new TV show debuted or the movie comes out, in a couple years: Infinite Hollywood: No New TMNT Toys For 2010 And Beyond? Right now, TRU still carries some select TMNT merchandise and that's the only place you're likely to find Shredder, Slash, etc in limited quantity. For the record, the Shedder figure has a slightly retooled leg so he can stand better. Other than that, no changes were made. |

Thanks as always for your help.
Im on ninjaturtles.com and its all pretty basic a good faq section but doesnt get crazy deep on anything. I'm suprised the anniversary for this line wasnt bigger..I mean TMNT was a really BIG thing, if only for a short time in comparison to other lines. If I remember correct, werent the early versions of the comic kind of..."hardcore" for lack of a better word? The Archie comics Turtles series was the only good thing Archie Comics ever made. |

Was the anniversary run any good?
The line sucked because Playmates is so lazy they even quit releasing Turtle variants no one wanted anyways. And Nick wants to keep them making toys (idiots). Quote:
Are they still on the shelves?

Any updates from the originals?

Also whats going on with the storyline now?
However, if you haven't seen the 2003 cartoon series, give it a watch. Seasons 1-5 rounds out as a good show with a begining, middle, and end. After that it goes down hill (and that's why it was caneled even before the buy out). Quote:
Cartoons or cool comics?...Thanks in advance!
