So I found my OG Moss-Man.
The legs are snapped...seems like the rubber "band" just dry rotted and broke. So obviously I'm gonna have to replace that...how the hell am I supposed to open up the legs to get the band back in there?!...And where do I get the band from!? Thanks! |

I've always wondered the same thing when I was a kid.
I finally found the answer a few weeks ago and it involves our friend the O-ring. Check out this link... Broken Legs or Loose Ruberbands

Screws and T-bars have pretty much disappeared in the last 2 years or so. I need some screws as well, but I can no longer find them anywhere.

Could a loose vintage Moss Man really cost more than a few bucks?

By the way let me know how it goes with that Moss Man repair.
It should be easy enough to get the parts. All you need are screw eye hooks and O-rings. I haven't tried this before myself, but I plan on it one day whenever I get around to it.
