I'm more of a vintage collector than modern. I focus on Biker Scouts. Always thought it was the coolest Stormtrooper as a kid. Fett is actually my favorite but prototypes and bootlegs are just too expensive to get what I want.
For modern, most of the VOTC/VTSC are pretty nice. I've been picking up the Original 12 and Bounty Hunters from this line to display with my vintage. Make a nice run. More recently I have added McQuarrie Original 12 and Bounty Hunters to the mix. IMO the VOTC Chewbacca is one of the best sculpts ever created for the SW line (Even better than vintage Amanaman which is absolutely stunning). I'd love for the sculptor to part with it. ;) 201 |

Most of my SW figs are Lego minifigs, so I guess those are my favorites.
Other than those I only have a 12" Collectors Series Boba Fett. |

does medicom vader count?
![]() i moved ot japan right after episode III came out (literally, i left on the plane the next day!), and like joes, its really hard to collect star wars figures from out here. :( i have managed to grab a few before i left, and snagged a couple when i have visited the states on leave. last purchases for me was a scorch, cdr. cody, 500th vader, VOTC biker scout. grabbed those from the trickle of figures we get here at the store on base. there are literally DOZENS of VOTC tusken raiders keeping the pegs toasty warm. some coin collection case vaders too. i think we get a shipment of SW figures here maybe one case per quarter. japanese toys R us get star wars figures, but almost double the price, and i only make it to a store every other month or so, as the nearest TRU is about an hour drive from here. sucks. hence the death (or coma?) of my SW collecting. i LOVE the mcquarrie concept figures though! if the prices werent so high at TRU here, i would have grabbed a bunch already. i hope when i get back to american soil in may i havent missed the boat.

I started collecting Star Wars figures because of a dio story I wrote. Since then my collection has grown a little. When I need a plastic fix and can't find any Joes, I'll get Star Wars. My favorites are the Airborne Clone Trooper, the 30th Ann Stormtrooper and Death Star Trooper.

So many Clones have been great, but I am pretty taken with Baron Fel from the comic pack right now, just because I liked that character a lot. If he had been released several years ago, I might still be collecting Star Wars right now. As it is, I jumped on the chance to get him and a 181st Interceptor. Though, he is a bit big, almost like he is on a slightly larger scale than the rest of the figures. He looks HUGE next to a regular TIE Pilot.

Vader is probably the coolest looking one although he's so easy to find. I have some of the more rare ones too like McQuarrie Snow Trooper, Revan, Malak, Maul and Starkiller.
