Marvel is once again rolling out the voting booths and asking the fans to pick the next Marvel Universe exclusive.
"Last year, fans far and wide went bananas for the Nick Fury Marvel Universe action figure offered exclusively to Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited subscribers. And now, for 2010, we want YOU to help decide which figure new subscribers will receive. Your choices are Archangel in his current X-Force costume, Norman Osborn in his H.A.M.M.E.R. outfit and Ms. Marvel--the MM from Dark Avengers, aka Karla Sofen, aka Moonstone! Cast your vote in our official poll now--voting closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on March 15. Once all the votes are tallied, we'll let you know which choice won, when it'll be available and how to get it!" Click on the headline to discuss your picks!

Why on earth would I want to vote in a poll that an extremely limited number of people would get?
If this was for the next mail-away, then sure. But unless you're a digital subscriber you'd never see this figure... No thanks.

I posted this over at Toy Ark as my alter ego Nightwing...

I have yet to read one comic online and the subscription expires at the end of March. The funny thing is that I paid $24 or so for it and now I've seen the figure go for over $70 on Ebay. Maybe it wasn't such a bad deal after all because I would hate to have to pay for that figure now. As for the comic subscription I think it's a good idea and all, but I don't seem to have the time to read through the comics online. I wish it would have been a downloadable subscription instead like the one they have for the PSP. That way I could take them on the go. I still don't know if I'm willing to go through the whole subscription thing again, but I think it would be cheaper then trying to obtain the figure from Ebay.

I just don't agree with the idea of a comic subscription to get an action figure.
Now if it was a Marvel Universe figure fan club, that I'd be fine with (like the Joe Club).

I would almost say vote Moonstone just because you can kitbash the figure in two seconds from Classic and Modern Ms. Marvel.
Marvel, you suck for the last subscription thing and you'll suck again for this one.

I still don't have my nick fury. I've been waiting to get it so I can cancel my current subscription.
I voted Moonstone, because I don't want to resubscribe...but I will for either one of the other two figs. But they will probably be available at SDCC if you sign up for marvel digital comics as well. I hope the excess Nick Furys make their way to HTS soon |
