I was in TRU yesterday and looking at the Schleich stuff which is ridiculously overpriced btw and then found some animal planet toys. There were a couple of things that could have worked with Joe stuff (with a little tweaking of course) but then I saw this and thought two of these sets could probably make a pretty cool Primord dio...especially since they have the baby orangutan which Storm Shadow could pick up and throw.

That the first thing you thought of when seeing it was "Storm Shadow could throw the baby" speaks volumes about you my friend... volumes....
And they're good reads..

A few years ago they had a monster truck that was supposed to be for trapping animals I grabbed it and use it for my Dreadnoks, very cool and cheaper than anything hasbro does.
Most of these are done by Chap Mei who has a long history of terrible figures but great vehicles that are inexpensive. I believe there are plenty still at TRU including the Chinock chopper right beside the GI Joes still. |
