The first Snake Eyes that I got brand new was the 1989 V3 one, and for Storm Shadow it was the 1988 V2 one. I did eventually get the 1985 V2 Snake Eyes and 1984 V1 Storm Shadow, but I think that I found them at a garage sale or something. They were loose and weaponless though.

In fact from this point forward if anyone is caught doing that, it will be deemed that the person... "pulled an Orko!" Scoop has spoken, and now it is law!

I remember finding the 1984 Storm Shadow at a Rite Aid one day when I was sick, I felt so lucky because I had never found it in the usual spots (Magic Mart, Maloney's, Eckerd, or Hills) before then.

Those were hard to find carded. 10 of them in a plastic casing at an old local comic book shop.

The first time I remember telling myself, "If I don't get this now, I'll never find it again" was the ROTJ Luke in the black outfit. Before that I don't think it was hard to find what I wanted...or I was just lucky. I had no problems finding v2 snake eyes of v1 storm shadow.
I got storm shadow before I knew who it was. All I saw was a cool ninja. |
