Thanks for making a thread for the 2.0 line; you're right, it needed one.

Hey guys, looks like Hasbro is re-releasing Unicron for the Classics 2.0/Universe line.
Looks to be a direct re-release instead of any kind of repaint, but for those who missed it the first couple times around, here's another shot for ya..... http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=9777 Personally, I love the figure, and may actually get another one to keep in box for my Classics collection.

Just remember to wait for Target to clearance Unicron out at $20 like they did the first time around. I was impatient and bought him for $60 when they first got him.
I got Tankor the other day and he's sorta cool. But he doesn't look very good in truck mode and his robot mode looks like Six Shot to me. I want a Powerglide in blue, otherwise he's way to big for me (Should be small like the original, I know, I'm a stickler) Onslaught looks like he might be pretty cool, but I'm just not feeling this line like I was for the first 2 waves |

This is what I get for paying $100 for one on ebay. I can remember when there was an endcap of them at Target for $10 each. Why is it the only influence I have on the Universe is that if I pay big bucks for something, it is soon available afterwards for much less money??? Oh, well. I may get one to keep in robot mode. I have my childhood Transformers (with some re-issues and vintage G1's I've added thrown in) depicting scenes from the 1986 movie. My Unicron is in planet mode. |

Its been a while since I've checked any transformers prices on ebay, but you bought Unicron for $100? Damn.
Was it the black Energon version?

What's going on with this classics line? We don't see it for 2 years and then we get Tankor? Powerglide?
I don't think I'm the only one who wants Soundwave & the cassettes, more Dinobots, more classic Autobots (though Prowl & Sunstreaker are a step in the right direction. How about Ironhide? Ratchet? Hound? Brawn? Huffer?) Love the line, not too happy about the choice of characters... |

me, too... I was pumped when I saw the first photos, but then I realized just how big he was, and now it's a solid 'meh.'
as somebody who never got one before and wants one now, i guess i should say, um, thanks? Iron-hide and Ratchet are confirmed for future waves Iron-hide http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/uni...ironhide-1794/ Ratchet prototype http://www.tfw2005.com/resources/uni...-ratchet-1897/ no word on the others I can simmer down my rant now. I still REAAALLLYY want a Soundwave. I wonder why he's been ignored? Having him with Laserbeak, Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy, & Ratbat would rock! Shockwave would be cool, too. I'm just greedy. I want them all! |
