Gygor was a junked prototype from the he-man line. It was originally to use the old Big Jim Gorilla mold. If you're not an avid he-man collector it's easy to not have heard of it. He-Ro was an unproduced figure in the last cancelled wave of He-Man figures. He was actually in Toy Fair photos and would have been in the same wave as Tytus and Megator, who themselves were only released in Italy. King Grayskull is a 200x creation and I'm not familiar with him.
I don't think Macfarlane or Mattel ripped off either one of the other. Gygor is an armored gorilla, Cy-gore is a cyborg techno armored gorilla. If you want to make that big a stretch you could say they're both ripoffs of Gorilla Grodd. Then go even further to say they're all ripoffs of King Kong or Planet of the Apes |

Mo-lar is a co-promotion with the Robot Chicken show. If any of you watch the show, there was a skit about him you may remember. I really didn't find it funny, but the figure as a concept is funnyish I guess. Anyway, although there's nothing official, word has it that Mo-lar tooling costs were fronted by Robot Chicken. It's also one of two SDCC exclusives so no one really has any room to bitch about it (which a bunch of it is happening on he-man forums) because it does nothing to take away from slots, nothing to take away from tooling or licensing budgets, and you can ignore it if you feel like it and it harms nothing. Yet they continue to hate cause that's all haters can do.

That big monkey looks like he's about 95% DCUC Gorilla Grodd. Still, it's a big monkey, so I may get my first MOTU figure when it comes out.

I think his name is Gigor or something along those lines. A book was published a few years back about the inner workings of mattel from way back in the day. A character that was canned early on was a yellow and green gorrilla that he-man would ride like battle cat. The Gorilla was a reused mold from the Tarzan or similar toy line, Much like how BattleCat/Panthor were the same mold as the Tarzan panther (all black, and the Zoar/Screech were from the same mold as the bald eagle.
