Indeed, and that Juggernaut is quite impressive as well. Shame they opted for that hip design though.
The Hasbro showing is looking very good this year, throwback Star Wars, Marvel, Iron Man, GI Joe... all impressive. I just wish someone would put more effort into the Spider-man figures. Someone could've taken a picture of the boxed Galactus too. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 02-13-2010 at 10:12 PM.. |

The Spider-Man figures are supposed to be a purely kid-focused line. That's why they pack in all the "action features" and limit the articulation. If we as adult collectors aren't impressed with (most of) them...well, we're not the target audience. ;)

Bah, using Kids as an excuse for poor articulation is stupid. Kids are the target audience of every toy that makes mass retail. That's why we get spring loaded gimmicks and fourteen versions of the same character.
Great sculpts, a chance at more villains and unique Spider-man costumes could've really propelled this line but all that's gonna fall short to figures who can't even bend at the knees. Especially with the wasted hip articulation. Just another display of Hasbro's short-sighted planning. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 02-13-2010 at 10:29 PM.. |
