I know this has been talked about before but it's been awhile. I bought my son the SW AT-TE for Christmas and the legs won't stay in the sockets. The damn thing keeps falling apart and has already been cast off with the other junk he doesn't play with. Wasn't there a link for replacement legs? Please help...thanks

I also remember reading that you can contact Hasbro & they'll replace the bad legs but I don't have a link. Sorry. |

I didn't contact hasbro, but i stuffed bits of paper towel into the joints to firm them up... It works, but it is a bit time consuming...

Mine just stands there in one position. I don't really see the legs being able to move a necessary play feature, but that's just my opinion. So if you don't really need the 2 middle legs to move you might just wanna glue them in place. That's one option. Is your son really going to snap the legs into different positions a lot or just play with the figures around it?

It's not a matter of moving the legs it's more a matter of they won't stay in the sockets. they fall out with the slightest touch. I did get it on clearance but it still sucks that he can't even stand the thing up. I think it's a big piece of junk anyway. Last time I purchase a big end SW item I ca tell ya that....

Ok Folks!
Hasbro has Replacement Legs, I called them and got brand new legs.[That was when I got it last year] They're designed like that to collapse incase a kid sits on them. Contact the Customer Service Department, there is a number on the bottom of the AT-TE towards the Rear Unloading bay you tell them that number when you ask about the AT-TE's legs falling off. But I called them when I got mine and got the legs. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front...led_119809.asp

I can't remember what size plastic tubing I bought from Lowe's, but it was ridiculously cheap and I cut it in 6 small pieces, barely slightly longer than the pegs on the AT-TE's legs. And then I inserted each plastic tube piece "in" each of the leg pegs, therefore expanding the leg peg for a tighter fit in the socket. You can move the legs all you want and they won't fall of.
