I love Star Wars, but I pretty much strictly buy Gi. Joe with the exception of the Cantina Aliens from Mos Eisely.
However, these new Build a droids are tempting as hell, not the R2 and the R5 units, but the humanoid looking ones. There's a HK-50 who looks sweet, and that badass terminator looking dude as well as L8-L9, who has flame throwers for arms, (Inferno BAT perhaps?). Does anyone collect these guys? At $7-$8 for a figure, can anyone afford to army build? Is there anyone like me who just wants the droid, and not the figure that comes with it? |

I'd try eBay (I bought a complete L8-L9 on there for about 7 bucks).

i have about 50 or 60 of the legacy collection figures and a bunch of the build a droid parts. so far i have one of the r-units and a humanoid droid complete and all sorts of parts including the arms and a leg from that L8-L9. it looks like it would be pretty cool complete!
i can sell all the droid stuff cheap |

I just don't like getting stuff on ebay that's still in stores, but if they're that cheap, I would go for it. |

I have about 10 R2 units. I dig the build a droid series. I got about 150 Star Wars figures.

The only B.A.D. I've completed is HK-50. I really want YVH-1 (the Terminator). I was going to get one off ebay but I didn't like how high it was going.
I need to try to get one before they all dry up. I'd really like to have 5 or 6 of that one. I wish they would sell them all single carded instead of this build a droid shit! |

My husband and I are into the build a droid stuff but seriously, $8 a figure? That's insane when we can just get Joe's for $5. I think they should lower the SW figures just as they do the Joe's. It'd be nice

they seem to do the 2 for $10 sw figures here quite often, otherwise it's just a normal day to pay $9.95 per joe or sw fig. prices are pretty hardcore up here for toys !
