My mind is officially blown by the pink alien woman though. An original trilogy character I've never even seen a photo of may be a sign that the universe his collapsing. I've got the huge "Chronicles" book, so I've at least seen masks or sketches of most, and was delighted that the space trooper was sculpted after the original actor in costume. |

And lets face it, even today's stuff will be redone in a couple years with better sculpting and articulation. This is why I only buy vintage Kenner figures - they'll always be classic because they were the first, and never suffer the "forgotten middle child" of pretty much every SW action figure line released until then once the next new batch of figures comes out. If they ever decide to release vintage style figures though, I'm in trouble!

I thought Lando was the only black dude in the whole galaxy.

This is the real deal with Willrow....
So you are a miner on cloud city slummin it for Lando, like all gas miners you are probably highly paid for the hard work and enjoy the finer things in life (like getting drunk and kicking Ugnaughts) until your whole floating city gets turned to... chaos when a guy who flies what looks like a shoe and wears an upside down garbage can as a hat, turns some rebel smuggler into a block of carbonite for Darth Vader. Lando realized he screwed the pooch and tells everyone to hide the hookers and space blow then skeedaddle before Vaders friends who dress all in white and are always shooting at shit (but strangly never hitting anything) show up and lynch your black asstro. You have precious minutes to book it out, and what do you bring with you? A fucking Ice Cream Maker... Even in Star Wars the rigpigs need to lay off the coke... hilarious.

I am really loving all the Cantina aliens from the past couple of years! It's a huge collection of surly drunks! For some legal reason, the Tonnika Sisters can't be made, and I wonder why the crummy Evazan and Walrus Man have yet to be remade, but the recent one's have been really great.
My mind is officially blown by the pink alien woman though. An original trilogy character I've never even seen a photo of may be a sign that the universe his collapsing. I think it's great that they're busting out with crazy obscure characters, better than another Han! What I want to see now is a photo of every X-Wing Luke ever made... |

I ran across Willrow while passing through TN. Couldn't pass up the Ice Cream maker prop.

He is one of the reasons I just sold off a ton of Star Wars stuff. A glaring example of why Hasbro should (sometimes) not listen to fan requests.

I dunno, i can appreciate the joakyness akin to like porkins, but I do just think he's a cool figure. Plus bespins, always been one of the least toy represented places in toy form in terms of OT.
I still havent found the newest waves of OT based stuff. I don't mind the constant updating on figures, i actually like it in the capcity that toy lines are usualy always improving. And if they go on along time stuff looks dated, and could you imagine if they never made a new versions of the main characters, being main characters they should be some of the best figures. But I'm just super picky when it comes to getting main characters now, I'll still buy all background characters and such, but really picky when it comes to hans, luke, leias. But allot come in multipacks as well.
